About the Rodeo
The WRCA Rodeo is the championship event of a series of sanctioned and endorsed rodeos happening throughout the region. Competitions in Texas and throughout the Plains and Southwest regions send their victors to Amarillo for this event.
Vendors
Along with the thrill of watching a live rodeo, visitors can browse goods from many quality vendors. Vendor areas include Trade & Trappings, Heritage Room, and Ranch Equipment Expo. Food and drink will be available for purchase.
Youth Events
Outstanding youth talent also competes in this event. The 2024 Youth Ranch Rodeo features only participants 16 and under, and the Youth Cowhorse Championship showcases young riders' skills. Fun rodeo-themed events for younger children round out the weekend.
Plan Your Visit
The WRCA Rodeo will be held at the Coliseum, 401 S. Buchanan, Amarillo, Texas. A Kickoff Celebration will be held on Wednesday, November 13. The rodeo continues all day Thursday through Sunday afternoon. To buy your tickets, visit the Coliseum box office in person, call 806-378-3096, or order online.
About the Working Ranch Cowboys Association
What sets the WRCA Rodeo apart from similar events is that all the competitors are working ranch cowboys. The Working Ranch Cowboys Association was founded in 1995 to highlight these professionals' skills and support the WRCA Foundation.
The WRCA Foundation assists working ranch cowboys and their families in times of crisis and natural disaster. It also awards college scholarships to cowboys and their immediate family members.
Frequently Asked Questions About Oral Health
How often should I see the dentist?
Most patients need professional cleanings and exams once every six months. Depending on your oral health and individual needs, your dentist may recommend a different schedule.
During your visits, you will receive an exam and oral cancer screening, a gentle but thorough cleaning, and diagnostic X-rays (usually once per year). Regular cleanings cut the rate of gum disease and tooth decay.
When should my child have their first dental visit?
Today, dentists recommend that parents schedule a child's first visit around their first birthday or six months after the first tooth erupts. Early dental care allows doctors to track a child's oral development and create positive lifelong habits.
